My name is A'Sheka Jordan. I am the Owner and Operator of Twice the Spice Events. Being an Event Planner has been one of the most purposeful things in my life next to being a mother and wife. I began event planning 10 years ago, in which I planned parties and babyshowers for my family and friends. After hosting many events, I discovered how much I enjoyed the entire aspect of event planning. The compliments and encouragement that I received from attending members of those events planted the seeds of growth and adventure in my discovered passion. Though I had been planning parties and showers, I was asked by my first cousin to plan her wedding and I instantly obliged. After successfully planning an coordinating her wedding along with an abundance of encouragement from my famiily and friends , I decided to move forward in the event planning industry. In 2009 Twice the Spice Events was officially opened.
Being an Event Planner is so much more than just being hired to handle the logistics of an event; it is being able to provide a sense of Self, Sentiment, and Security while providing a Service! As a planner, it is my duty to provide these things to every client and potentiaI client that I encounter. My professional goal is to gain a personal as well as a professional relationship with each client so that I am able to relate to them in such a way that I can use my personal knowledge as well as my creativity to execute and design an event unique to them. The most rewarding part of being an Event Planner is the priceless smiles from my clients in the final moments of their event that assure me that "it is a job well done."
My husband Christopher Jordan is the Logistics Manager of Twice the Spice Events. His years of experience as an Information System Technician has given him the ability to plan, organize, and exeute precisely. Christopher's work behind the scenes of our company plays a significant role in turning each event into a masterpiece. Christopher uses his techniques to create a blueprint for each event. As a team we use this blueprint as a foundation that we continue to build on until the event has been created, constructed, polished, and turned into a masterpiece. Your event isn't only turned into a masterpiece once but Twice; Once by both Event Specialists which gives you Twice the Spice!
